The seeds have sprouted!
Concetta started seeds in several trays of soil blocks a few days ago. They are hardy annual flowers, so they will withstand the early spring cold and still produce beautiful blooms.
Now that they are showing green, she's placed them under lights. She keeps the lights on for 15 hours at a time, and vigilantly ensures that the the trays are damp. When these little babies have gotten a little stronger, they'll be transferred to the awaiting flower beds on the land.
