The Kome Family are the proud new owners of 21.06 acres of land. The property is a few minutes outside of Six Mile's main street, and has a gorgeous view of Six Mile Mountain.
Our goal is to transform this land into a bountiful farm.
A small house, abandoned for many years, sits in a small glade on top of a hill. The surrounding field slopes down into a forest. Within the forest is a beautiful network of springs and streams.
The field is blossoming with yellow waves of goldenrod. But the field is also full of invasive species, including tangled Kudzu and countless Bradford Pears. We have a long way to go before we can begin harvesting a garden's bounty.
It's an exciting adventure, with the promise of surprises and rewards. Here we go!
